You can't really call your Holiday shopping complete without getting a little something for your fur baby, am I right?! No matter what you choose to celebrate this December, keep in mind that Fido and Kitty love to receive a little gift just as much as the rest of the family does.
Animals are so easy to please that they are excited with something as simple as balled up gift wrap or an empty box. For those of us who need little to no excuse to buy that new toy or bed or sweater (the possibilities are endless!) Holiday time is the purrfect time to spoil your furry family members.

According to the UK version of the Daily Mail, approximately 75% of pet parents will purchase gifts for their fur babies. A shocking (and hilarious) 66% of these shoppers will spend more money on their pet than they will on their partner. Holiday themed animal gifts are just too cute to pass up apparently! From gingerbread style dog houses to green and red sock monkeys, the choices are as varied as the beloved pet being shopped for.
The Holidays are a great time to start up a Barkbox or Bowzer Box subscription for your pet or, send as a gift to a family member, friend or, even a shelter or favorite rescue. Many rescues offer coupon codes for Barkbox, so before ordering any monthly treat box for your fur baby, ask around for feedback and opportunities to save money while assisting a rescue.

If you just can't decide on what to gift that hard to shop for pet in your life, take a tour of a local pet store for some inspiration. Sale items abound at this time of year in all stores so, you might luck in to some really good deals while perusing for pet gifts. Some shops offer customizable items such as ID Tags, collars, blankets, tree ornaments and of course, stockings! Treats are ALWAYS a welcome gift idea for pets and, so are toys.
There are a multitude of squeaky, jingly, crinkly, chewy and, cuddly toys in store and online to choose from. It may actually be a challenge to keep from loading one cute thing after another into your cart!
Just remember to keep safety in mind, nothing too small (think choking hazard), nothing too sugary and, avoid items with sharp edges or toys with big googly eyes that can be chewed off and consumed. Keep an eye on toys for wear and tear and remove them before they can cause harm. When a toy is split at the seams and is oozing stuffing, it's time for a new one (a perfect excuse to load up on lots of fur baby prezzies this Holiday Season!)
